  1. That's a deal for sure Pete, or down to LSC for the day. We're thinking of going for Salmon tomorrow as a matter of fact Joey
  2. Yup, tis me. Not a record tho. Ontario/Canada does not have line class records. Only USA and Worldwide. Thanks tho! And TJ - Joey
  3. What a great report. That place looks very nice. love the wildlife shots. Sorry to hear the weather didn't cooperate, but you'll have next year to go in July It's more about the company anyhow really. Joey
  4. I took a pic of all my fish with the OFC Logo but realized I've been out inched in all the categories of our team Joey
  5. Yep, I saw and read that article myself. It even mention's Clive's Fishingfury website. Pretty cool. Joey
  6. Wow, now that was a great report TJ. That pike is huge. I'd say it was more than 38-40 inches. The place looks great. You are doing a super job at getting it livable, to my amazement Joey
  7. Super report Cliff. I'm just trying to find all the Lakair reports I missed this week. Your camera takes great pics. You captured some "interesting" moments Joey
  8. Hey, my first sauger and I didn't even know it. Thanks again for taking me out Chris. It was nice to sit and chat, even tho the bite never turned on for us. Hope I didn't get you hooked again We will definately get them next year, I'm looking forward to it. Great pics too hon. Joey
  9. Happy Birthday Peter. Hope you got what you wanted. Joey
  10. Great report and pics Marty. Dawson is such an angel. He sure looked like he enjoyed himself, well, until the tackle bag incident But that worked itself out. Looking forward to seeing you guys next year. Will Dawson be coming again? Joey
  11. Rich, it was great seeing you and Patsy. I'm glad we got a few moments to chat at Wayne's cabin on Monday night. Looking forward to seeing you both next year. As you know we also had a hard time finding the elusive musky. They are there, they just didn't come out to play this year (except for Lew of course ). Great pictures and that is a beauty pickerel Patsy caught Joey
  12. Great report and pictures. I love the heron picture, that's awesome. Great tip on the topwater. I'll keep an eye out for one of them next time I'm at BPS or LeBaron. That's a funky red line Mike is using. Joey
  13. Great report B. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see you out there fishing again Some beauty buckets there, although I'm skeptical about the last pic Terry posted That's really a shame about the carp. I sure hope they figure out the problem and fix it. Joey
  14. Ya, that was something else eh, I love thrill rides Was great seeing you two again also. Glad Carol got the pin out of her propane bottle without blowing up. That worried me a little Joey
  15. Yes, that is very sad news Kevin. I hope Leslie is coping well with it, as she knew it was coming, but it does not make it any easier. Please give her our deepest sympathies. We may be back in August and can talk then, I was upset that we did not get a chance to say goodbye to Les when we left. Joey
  16. OMG, that's the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. Joey
  17. Oh, I gotcha Spiel We'll get em next time for sure, August maybe!!! Rich, she passed on Thursday Joey
  18. Got back late yesterday from another fantastic week at Lakair. We got there early Saturday after Paul got off work too late to drive up Friday night. By the time he got home and the truck was loaded it was 1:30 a.m. so we decided to get a few hours sleep and we were off by 6 a.m. Saw a few of these on the way and knew we were close. We barely had time to set up camp and the pike tournament was starting. We blasted off behind Irishfield and Spiel to get to our fav pike spot. Took a pic of these rednecks in a weird coloured boat Got some shots of some OFNr's while waiting for the fish fry and while prizes were being awarded. Ladywalleye (Shelley) Jaden and Monique, and Muskiestudd (Chris) hearing no evil I presume Greencoachdog (Glen) enjoying what does not look like moonshine, but just regular ordinary rye. A nice pic of Roy, but unfortunately its a bit out of focus. A good shot of Beans (Norm) Dawson (Marty's son) taking home one of many of his prizes. What a sweetie that little boy is. Art (Aplumma) leaving the prize table. Irishfield (Wayne) on his way to the prize table. Daplumma (Joe), Art and Glen sitting pretty! TJ and Art having a moment. Monday Lew and Spiel (Chris) packed up and left us, sniff, sniff. I enjoyed our almost pickerel fishing Chris We fished Muskrat Bay and even ventured over to Merganser Bay, and there was alot of active weather. These kept popping up most days then we'd have some good thunderstorms. Monday was a doozie that lasted a good 5 hours. These guys were all over the place, which eventually turned into our friends........ Saw this little fellow fisherman out on the shores of Muskrat one day This little guy was very friendly. Paul even got him to do tricks, as you can see him jumping in the second picture for a peanut. We also found this little cutie wandering around Off a fishing we will go.... We caught ALOT of pike. This guy, I'm happy to say, like my new homemade bucktail. I had many follows and catches with all my homemade lures. Caught a bass, while pickerel fishing This guy went for the perch coloured musky bait A bass while musky fishing More pike I thought this was hilarious. Paul had put the perch shad rap on the dash and then later his wet bucktail. On the drive back the bucktail dried and it made the shad rap look like it had a mohawk I think this place is in need of repair, ha ha. Can you see the face more pike Finally got into some pickerel the last day there. Some slot sized tho. But it was a great night to be out in the weather and the mosquitos were not bad that night for some reason. A mini perch And our last sunset before heading home the next morning. Kevin visited us one night and told us that there are these new tree frogs that have started living in the trees. I tried to get a video so you can hear them and it turned out great, until the end!!!!!!! Here's another vid of Paul trying to get a campfire to stay lit while it rained like cats and dogs on Monday. It was a super week and we had some great conversations with Wayne and Leah in their cabin a few wet evenings. Richard Clemens and his wife Patsy joined us also. Can't wait to go back up. On a sad note, Leslie's mother died during the week. Kevin played Taps on his bugle in memorium. Leslie did not come back to camp so our sincerest condolances to you Les. Joey & Paul
  19. Will do Becky. I"m heading up late tonight, as soon as my husband gets off afternoon shift. I'll tell him to give his dish a ring Joey
  20. Great report Gerritt. Thanks for the info on the conditions up there. Wonder if a week will make a difference. Joey
  21. Hahahaha, ya, 29th now. I guess I won't be able to vote for a week now. If anyone does while I'm gone, I appreciate it. Joey
  22. I entered the contest this year too. They changed the rules this year too so that you have to enter your email when voting, so that you can't vote 100 times a day. I could sure use a new boat too Joey
  23. See you sometime early Sat. morning. I'll make sure to congratulate Avery for sure. What an accomplishment. Joey
  24. Hahahaha, welcome aboard Becky. I'm heading up Friday night so I'll make sure they boyz behave themselves. I'll make up a good story about your thread and put a good scare into Joe. Tell him you went through his "history" and he has some splainin to do Joey
