High blood pressure can kill. Sounds like this may have been a first time "weirdo encounter" for some of your classmates. If so... a scary one yes when you think that your life will end...but life has so many more of those "weirdos"..this was a mild one in comparison to "all" that is out there. Poor judgement on his part...maybe he himself is scared. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders...and you were wise to post this. Don't get angry nor stay angry...just give it a passing glance and continue on.

Well done!! I just finished 4 weeks of a 6 week course...struggled every day to stay awake. Get all that classroom room stuff done while you are young.

LOL me too ... I was sooooooo sick. It was the upside down "count down numbers" on the Peace Tower in Ottawa that told me ... I had ??? seconds to live.

I do like to read your reports, look at your pics and appreciate the way in which you share your life and your love of fishing. I gotta get off this thing and get out there...so I am taking yours and others advice and I am just gonna go it alone. Told my mechanic (after he laughed at me for taking up the sport) that I was going to bring him a fish. Would love to present him with a big ugly carp like the ones you and your wife get all the time!! lol

Hi Joey Here's one that I like: Cut the ribs in single rib sizes. (hope you know what I mean) Boil the ribs in water for about 5 - 7 minutes. Drain the water. Get bottles of HV Sauce...Medium Garlic, or Strong Garlic depending on how garlicky you want them. I use medium. Pour the HV Sauce into a big pot and add the ribs. Make sure there is enough of the sauce to cover them. And let them simmer...the longer they simmer the yummier they are. Especially leftovers the next day (if any) They are not dry. Some people don't like using store bought sauces...but this brand is worth a try. Bon appetite!

Nah...does not reflect level of intelligence whatsoever. This board is not only addictive...it is interesting, full of knowledge, with many helpful people who have no other agenda but to share their love for fishing. Some are more expressive then others and have acquired a knack for writing...but hey...there are others who struggle with the English language but still share with us a part of who they are. I guess it just all comes down to what you want to give and take from it. You cannot be a member and not recognize the many friendships openly shared by so many. Although I am new to fishing and new to this board...I wouldn't change a thing about it. I write what I want and comment on what I like to.

When I was a kid (5 years old) standing on the dock in Mattawa, Ont...I got a fish hook in the head. Turned me off of fishing for the next 40 years. aaahhhhh YES...Mattawa,,,now there's a scenic place to fish. (Just talking to myself) If you can get out...do it...if you can't...well you can't...maybe tomorrow...just don't blame the kids, don't blame the wife...
