    The two teams that have played for Ottawa are not the same. The sens can claim those cups all they want. It doesn't mean they earned them. Montreal only claims cups won by their franchise not by other teams in the city. What's next? Will the New York Rangers claim the cups won by the Islanders? Or vice versa? That is the inconvenient truth.

    Ya the last 10 minutes of the leafs habs game was great after paros hit his chin on the ice and all those playoff games without fights are so boring. There is a huge difference between 2 guys fighting because they are mad at each other and this sadly predictable our guy (who can't skate) against your guy (who can't skate).

    For a non-hockey market that building does better then most, but it's too early for most of the fans there. Have to wait until after football is over.

    The other day I was grouse hunting and saw a white bucket off the trail a little ways. As I was thinking about turning around and heading a different direction I realized it was part of a homemade thunder box… Same affect…. I headed another direction.

    Some will say goalies are "different". That's slightly nicer than weird and way nicer then most of the things hockey players will say about goalies.

    And Chicago traded Hasek (who wasn't young at the time) away because they were going with Belfour. Straight up, goalies are weird. More of the game is between their ears then any other position in hockey. The smaller equipment might also mean some of those goalies who just positioned themselves and shrug their shoulders will not be looking as good this year. I'd rather the leafs stay with the combo they have now and unless some team is desperate through injury or another crisis the trade value isn't that high anyway. Cap wise, these 2 goalies fit and after this season make the decision for the next 4-5 years.

    I can't imagine what that feels like. I well up with emotion when my son prints his name and none of the letters are backwards.

    Well I guess they aren't going to go 82-0. I'd try to come up with some other make-believe stuff the no leaf fan has ever said, but the grouse await.
