Ruff should get suspended for a few games at the least ... the hit was clean and for a coach to send his goons out the next shift to fight the skill players is completely unacceptable ... send your tough guy out against another tough guy ... I hope the Sens kick the sabres $#$&$^ on Sat ..

My cousin and I made it out this am on the lower grand .. ice didnt look too good but after puching a cuple holes in the ice decided to head out ..... after away from the ramp area the ice was ok to the left but the ice to the right appeared broken/refrozen ... a half hour in Mike had a beauty rainbow on ... 10-15 min fight and lost it at the hole ... couldnt get his head up ... left the ice at around noon ... the ice was making some not so nice sounds and was starting to heave by the ramp ... cracks starting to grow ... if your heading out there this weekend bring a boat ... I dont think there will be any access from the ramp

most were waiting for winter to show its face .. now that its here most are bored out of their trees reading posts about pennies .. just my 2 cents ... man i need to get out fishing

in Trenton yesterday there were some drifts but nothing worth wearing snowshoes

Headed out to BOQ early yesterday morning ... fished in Trenton ( mouth of the Trent) ... was very slow all day ... a couple guys had a few that they had caught early morning ... finnaly at 5 pm i finnaly get a hit ... missed ... another .... missed ... finnaly hook the little guy (about 3 lbs) .... had a few more hits but the wind started blowin like crazy ... thought my hut was going to collaps ... so I packed it in .... at least I got my first walleye through the ice ... the rest should be easy now

I booked Thurs off work to hit the bay on Thurs ... never caught a walleye or fished the Bay through the ice ... thinking of either Trenton or Deseronto ... need to know where I can access the lake and get minnows (I'll get them in Belleville if I go to Desoronto) .. herd that the currents and tugs can leave the ice unsafe around Belleville ... Thanks for the info

using a heater is fine ... my brother has a 100 gal in the garage with his pond fish in it ... he removed the top knob and turned the temp right down ... just enough to keep from freezing up but not runnin all out day and night ... you dont want the water too warn in the tank so the shock on the minnows would be kept to a minimum

My son wanted to ice fish this weekend ... yesterday was lets wait till tomorow .. got up this am and loaded the van ... got the hot chololate ready .. all the warm clothes .. warmed up the van ... got in the van and he looks at the temp ... -16 ... he decided right then it was too cold to walk out on the lake ... gonna have to wait for next weekend

after swimmin around in lk O for a few more years it could get this big

Headed out at 1 am ... started fishing by 3:30am ... fish till 5:00am ... nothin so I hit timmies and decided to have a little nap before light ... started fishing again at 7:00 am ... washed several lures then at 8:00 tap ... miss ... cast to the same spot didn't miss this time ... almost dropped my net in the water with the winter gloves on ... suprised no one else was fishing in the morning ... nice little 2lbr... next cast another tap .... 2 casts later a bigger eye .... after about 20 min I changed up lures from taildancer to the manns Dr. Death ... first cast a pike just smoked it not more then 6 ft from the edge of the pier ... fished till 11 without a sniff ... got some lunch and another nap and back at it at 3pm .... it was raining and windy now and didn't even get a tap ... some of the locals showed up at 3:30ish and didn't have any luck either .. at 5 I called it a day ... here are some pics

Going to head to the BOQ in the am and was wondering if there has been anything caught from shore? I also cant decide if I should hit Trenton or Bellville?

Hit the Grand for some walleye action ... unfortunately they weren't home ... managed to hook into a beauty bow but she broke off after 5 or 6 giant leaps ... seen a lot of bows trying to make it up the dam ( or the same one that just couldn't do it)

two people walk into a bar which is kinda stupid cause ya figure the first guy hit it.... the second woulda ducked

I only feel bad the next day ... a fish fry and lots of beer will do it to me every time

fishing buddies method looks like it is a litle easier ... just gonna have to get some pike and try it both ways

Planning on heading out on the hardwater ( if we ever get any) for some pike fishing ... never cleaned one before so I though id search the web ... found this video .... makes it look easy

gonna take my son bait fishing ... .wanna get some pike this winter so need some chubs for bait
