Man, those stars didn't align...they were huggin' each other! Beautiful weather, a slight walleye chop, A great friend and fishing partner and fish waiting in line for their turn at your baits. I know that folks who say "Fish are just a bonus" are watching this and chomping at the bit. Great report Simon. Thanks for taking the time.

This had nothing to do with its bladder. The stress of the fight and the 45 minutes in the well..15 of which were very bumpy will do it. I don't recommend that anyone try to fizz any fish.

Is it possible you have water trapped in the under-floor hull compartments? That would cause it too.

Does it also list when you're not moving? How's the weight distribution? Does it pull to one side? Yes it could very well be the 'fin'.

Mike, it's a very common occurrence. In certain sections, the Larry is not crystal clear so some fish with failing eyesight (especially pike, carp and sturgeon) must stick their head out to get their bearings...see where they are going.

Wow, all very healthy specimens and some great release shots. Those bears don't look too scrawny either. As for the laker, that would have been my PB as well but I couldn't hazard a guess. Thanks for sharing.
