  1. Here in the US it's just the opposite.........UPS is much better than the USPS.....no uses the USPS to ship packages.
  2. Call and Ask for Doug Heffernan....oh, wait that IPS he works for.....
  3. Never had a problem with either UPS or Cabela's......as a matter of fact Cabela's sends you a tracking number when you order online and you can tell just about where your package is and exactly when it will arrive to your home......Can't beat that even with a Ugly Stick...
  4. I have seen this happen once when deer hunting........take a peek...FUNNY ! ! !
  5. Cabela's has several right now in their Bargain Cave on sale......take a look here.... http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...amp;id=cat21492
  6. On your boat........do you have a on-board charger......I have had one for about 6-7 years and it really prolongs the life of both my batteries.....but what I would like to suggest if you have one or are planning on installing one is have the extension cord drop down from the ceiling and plug into the cord for the on-board charger......this way it automatically unplugs in the morning as you pull away (I have my boat hooked onto the truck the night before)....this way no damage is done to anything when you forget to unplug it come morning....and YES I almost always forget to unplug the boat before heading out. Bob
  7. Something wrong.........I just can't put my finger on it........OH, I know....the whole garage is too neat from someone who fishes a lot....
  8. They marry their cousins don't they......
  9. Yep, even if you didn't have a unlimited supply of .223 ammo it's about half the price of .22-250 ammo, at least here.....Being a military round they are made by millions which brings the cost down..... Here our ammo prices have almost double since Obama got into office......everyone's buying everything on the shelfs and hording it....makes no sense.
  10. Yep, they pay me for every post... Can't fix something that's not broken (yet)....
  11. I have read all of these post and I have to admit I'm a little offended that it's the Amerian's that over fish Rice Lake or any other lake for that matter........I have only purchased a conservation license for MANY years because I rarely keep any fish from my Ontario trips......maybe each year the wife and I will have a shore lunch from 2 or 3 walleyes and that's it.......I can't remember the last time I took fish home from Ontario.........I can get freezer full of walleye here in Lake Erie but I enjoy the jig fishing of a small Ontario Lake for the sport......Lake Erie fishing is more like harvesting when you use all the equipment needed to have a successful day......and BTW Ontario is the only one that still has COMMERCIAL FISHING on Lake Erie for perch and walleye but I guess that's OK.......... I have fished Ontario for over 35 years straight and know at least 20-30 other guys in my fishing circle who also likes to make 1 - 3 trips into Ontario be it a drive to lake or fly in lake and NOT ONE of these anglers have gone to Ontario to fish Bluegills......I can't even believe I read that here......99% make the trip for WALLEYE fishing and some pike fishing, not pan fish which we have enough of here in NYS...... BTW this MIGHT be the year I don't take the trip to Ontario and it will because of the weak US dollar compared to the Canadian dollar....I haven't made ANY reservations as of yet and that's very unusual for me. This could change but I'll have to see how thing go....Ontario prices are VERY high compared to our prices and a strong US dollar usually balances that out for us Americans traveling over there. High gas prices don't help either.
  12. Sounds like you did a job you can be proud of.
  13. I it wasn't such a hassle with taking firearms across the border I would also volunteer to eliminate that coyote....I have a secret weapon...........The Roadrunner..........LOL Seriously, one shot from my Ruger .22-250 Rem and the problem is gone. Bob
  14. First of all I not going to listen to a Internet website on what I should do with my vehicle.....IF and when I get a notice from Toyota I will respond accordingly.
  15. I guess you never heard of the Chevy Corvair. GM had to seize making these cars because they were so UNSAFE. Ralph Nader even wrote a book on how dangerous this vehicle was.
  16. I own a 2007 TUNDRA and it hasn't been back to the dealership since I purchased it in 6/07....got the silly letter from Toyota that my TUNDRA "might" be involved with the recall because of the floor mats.....my factory floor mats are anchored down with hooks so they cannot slide under the accelerator pedal....needless to say I haven't heard back from Toyota since about Oct '09.......but if my truck was under the recall all you had to do is remove the frigging floor mats until you took it back in to Toyota for them to probably install the anchor hooks that prevent the mats from sliding forward and MAYBE under the accelerator pedal.........IS THIS THE BEST THE TOYOTA HATERS HAVE TO HANG THEIR HATS ON.......GIVE ME A BREAK.
  17. Och, that hurts when you break a knife you had for a long time. BTW I have to say those are the SKINNIEST lakers I have ever seen.....they should be bitting like mad there.
  18. Drinking $1200.00 worth of booze, when did you have time to fish........OH, wait, that's Canadian booze.....so it's really only 2 cases of beer and bottle of cheap wine....
  19. I flew into a outpost in Gogama that would have been better if the cabin was made out of duct tape.....as a matter of fact the outhouse only had 3 walls and no door....even the bears wouldn't come around to this site...they knew better.
  20. So many confused ones and so little time..........
  21. Nice move on a upgraded truck with the Ford......next you will be upgrading to a Toyota TUNDRA...
  22. Yep, that's me....I'm wanted in almost every state that's why I go to Canada.....
  23. No, not all states...it defers in each an every state with Texas as being by far the most liberal state........ I have fished Ontario for over 30 years with anywhere from 1 to several trips each year.....when I was younger we always had beer in the boat, especially in the afternoon or evening run........now I never have beer in the boat if I am going fishing, HOWEVER, I have had beer each year when I take my wife for a boat ride on the lake we are on that year.....we don't flaunt it or over abuse it be we do enjoy at least a couple beers each on these cruises...If and when I am caught and fined I will stop going to Ontario........hopefully this never comes.
  24. Here's a forum where you can get the best up to date info on Lowrance or others........these are in the know very much when it comes to the latest electronic technology. http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zeroforum?id=13
