I hope everyone has been well and catching lots of fishies. Does anyone have a line on any live leeches? I know it's late in the season but I'm hoping to get lucky. I've called dozens of bait shops with no luck. If you know of anyone in the Durham/York/GTA area, please let me know. Once the water temp is below 55f or so, they roll up into a little ball of snot and are not too active...not very enticing to fish. Rizzo Posted October 3, 2023 Report Share Posted October 3, 2023 this makes sense. Havent used leeches in years but we used to have a cottage near Parry Sound and leeches were amazing for smallmouth. Didn't even need to get in the boat. Part of our shoreline was deep water, just drop a leech straight down off the dock and you would have a 2 to 4 lb smallie almost instantly 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
