KraTToR Posted September 24, 2018 Report Posted September 24, 2018 Looking for a good ramp to access the Larry near the Forty Acre shoal. Any recommendations?
OhioFisherman Posted September 24, 2018 Report Posted September 24, 2018 http://www.boatlaunches.ca/st-lawrence-river-boat-ramps https://www.gananoque.ca/sites/gananoque.ca/files/Parking Brochure 2018.pdf http://www.travel1000islands.ca/directory/gananoque-marina No idea if that helps?
mitch seguin Posted September 24, 2018 Report Posted September 24, 2018 The Gan launch is not the greatest due to distance to parking. I launch at the Grass Creek site (free) in Kingston and work my way downstream hitting a number of musky spots along the way to Forty Acre shoal. https://www.cityofkingston.ca/residents/recreation/parks-trails/grass-creek-park

David Chong Posted September 26, 2018 Report Posted September 26, 2018 Grass Creek Park launch is usually good and rarely busy plus it's free! If the water levels are down sometimes it can be a little sketchy getting out!
