Any Suggestions for day fishing in Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park

Looking to do a day trip into Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park...bass, walleye.

 

Anyone fish there before? Is there area in the park that is best suited, boat ramp, parking etc.

 

Any info would be appreciated.

If you want to take a boat, I'd stick with anstruther, or long lake access. The fishing has never been great for me. Walleye are a tough go. Lakers are doable, but still not easy. BAss are everywhere, but no real big ones IMO.

 

Best way to explore the area is by canoe. Some of the back lakes are full of bass.
