Timmins Ice Fishing

I am headed to Timmins on March break for a Provincial Ringette Tournament.

 

I will be dragging my son along and wish to possibly take him ice fishing.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations as far as outfitters in that area that could offer us a hut?

 

I don't care what we fish for just looking to get out for an afternoon or two.

I'm heading up there for a job opportunity this week if I can get everything sorted out by the weekend I'm looking to hit the ice. If I come across anything I'll pm you. Any guys in the area wanna play guide beers afterwards are on me.

For a DIY outing, bring an auger and frozen smelt and your lines. I would recommend Porcupine Lake right in town for pike action.
Access the lake at Deadman's Point (south side of lake half way).
