Need urgent advice on Martindale Pond access

Heading to port dalhousie tonight to try for some Browns. Keeping Martindale pond as a backup plan, however I have never been to martindale so looking for a good spot to sit along the water and fish.

 

I checked google earth and it seems the best place is henley island but I am not sure that place is accessible since the yacht club is there.
