Hooked Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 I would like to try some new area's and was wondering if Crappie would be readily available this time of year from shore? Looking at hitting Martindale Pond or somewhere on the Welland Canal. Any advice for this time of year? Would they typically be in shallower or deeper? From the experience I have had with Crappie, they tend to move alot. But my experience has really only been in the summer at Rice Lake. Thanks
Garry2Rs Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 My neighbour, in the Kawarthas, mentioned catch a bunch from shore last week, in his usual spring time spot...
Sinker Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Yep, this time of year I catch them in some of my spring spots as well. You know the ones, Hooked. Shallow, and at dusk, into the night. S.
