I was just fishing at Bate Island this weekend - the water seems to be running high - anyone else notice high water for the season?

Not many fish this time around, hoping it get's better later in the season.

Love the Ottawa, had a camp downstream of Westmeath for a while in the 80's and 90's. I'm sure it's related we have lost 25 feet of beach here on Erie at our place. It's really still there just underwater right now.

Yeah, spring conditions - that's a good way of describing it. Definitely used to shallower, slower water at this time of year!

 

Probably good for the region, we were getting to draught conditions for a couple of summers.
