Joey Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Super pictures. I can't wait to get out there and find some myself. With Ralphie being sick, work, my mom's and my birthday and then Mother's day in the next few days, doesn't look like I'll get out this week at all I may try to "sneak" off for a few hours if I can though. LOVE the blue headed vireo. I have yet to see one!
Joey Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Okay, I snuck out for 2 hours and found a bunch of warblers, and a few other birds. Joey Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Thanks. All in the same place too. I also saw a Baltimore oriole, but he was too quick for me. Didn't even have him focused and he flew right at me so close my 400mm lense was too close to get a shot ha ha ha. Oh well, next time!

There was about 100 Orioles where I was Saturday and Sunday with a few Orchard orioles mixed in also had a nice male Rose Breasted grosbeak within 6 feet but no chance at a shot too many braches in between We also got 16 different Warblers over 6 hours(4 Saturday and 2 Sunday) Edited May 12, 2014 by Rodbender
