Spoon Feeding Salmon

Hey Guys,

 

Looking to get out for some coastal chinnys in the can this weekend an am wondering if vertical jigging spoons can be effective? I know they are typically caught on horizontal casting/trolling presentations with steady retrieve however, the bass fisherman in me is wondering if I can slay some kings like this?

 

Also, anyone have success by swimming tube jigs? I know browns will take em...

Try dropshotting large minnow style baits... I have never caught one on a jigging spoon but bows LOVE them.

Welcome aboard my man! Nice to see u on here. I suggest using a texas rigged hot dog with some mustard fleck to attract the coarse fish while you wait!
