limeyangler Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 Hi all, Couple of outings this weekend, one to Lac Seul and one to a lake in town. Went to LS with my neighbour Bob while he can still sit comfortably in a boat (surgery next week), and one outing by myself to a lake in town at the crack of dawn. Both went well, lots of big fish both outings. Fish were at the 22' - 30' FOW range on both lakes, the fish on LS in particular showing signs of the fall feedbag football shape. Jigs and minnows....BIG MINNOWS. Both days windy......water temps have dropped 15 degrees in as many days. We caught a few Bass at LS....they too were deep. LAC SEUL THUNDER SOME PICS FROM BOTH OUTINGS
limeyangler Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Very nice. Yum, yum! Yeah...we kept some from the Lac Seul trip.....fishfry this Saturday ..........but all the rest from my second trip out were catch and release, the lake is relatively small and the fish mostly huge so i like to put them back. Roy Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Don't know how I missed this one, Simon. They really ARE round. They're surely eating well. Thanks for taking the time to post this.
