snagmaster Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Hey guys im leaving for Jamaica this monday for a week of fun in the sun with my girlfriend. Was wondering if anyone has fished in jamaica (negril) and if there are any recomendations for fishing guides and charters. Im more interested in fishing the flats then deep sea action but any help is appreciated. Im staying at the Riu tropical bay.... Also what tackle should i bring for messin around off shore with my extendo rod? thanks guys and good luck out there
mepps Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Another OFNer asked the same question... http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.p...&hl=jamaica
Slick Willy Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 When in Mexico last winter our top producers were shad-type swim baits in natural colors. These things will catch anything - anywhere! Those saltwater teeth make quick work of them though. Have a good one. >Bill
