fishindevil Posted December 2, 2012 Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 Yes off quick short road a few miles south of the bridge across the narrows it's not the best and water is very low if you don't have a big boat and ya got a 4x4 I used to launch there a lot years ago !!! superdad Posted December 5, 2012 Report Share Posted December 5, 2012 I don't think that you'll be able to launch off the Short Road, it looks like its closed and the water is REALLY low. If you launch at Desronto, you're only five to ten minutes away from Short Road - watch out for the marker at Desronto, it's a killer rock - Ask Young One..... fishindevil Posted December 6, 2012 Report Share Posted December 6, 2012 Thanks David like I said to the poster that its been awhile since I launched there but it used to be pretty good and we also accessed it for walking out ice fishing to the shoal and the hydro cut !!!!
