Fishing around Ottawa?

Hi All,

 

Can another around Ottawa help me out? I was wondering if there is any fishing within a decent distance from the Ottawa Westin Hotel? I'm there for a conference later this week.

 

I'm just trying to see if there is any reason for me to pack the rod for the trip. Likely for evening / night fishing.

Victoria Island , just behind the parlament bldgs has cats, people fish there all the time.

Not much open here yet.

Looks like my fishing plans are off now, my travel plans have changed from flying in alone to driving in with the family.

what i never seen any cats around victoria island.... .

 

ok..its starthing to get better now for cats around there. its not at the peek but you can get a cople a night .

 

there all kind off fishing around ottawa frome shore for all kind off fish species frome crappies to carp to cats.we got almost all off it.

 

 

bring on the nice weater and see me somwhere on shore.. .
