danc Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Skip Thunder Bay....I stayed over there a night last year on way to Fireside Lodge. I will sleep in my car if I have to instead if no other options. Went thru several nice towns. Use Mapquest andTravelocity for some ideas. Whatever you do, DON'T STAY IN THUNDER BAY!! You'll be lucky if you wake up alive in the morning.
kickingfrog Posted September 30, 2012 Author Report Posted September 30, 2012 Thanks for the information guys. Where we eat and sleep will depend on the fishing and the weather so it's good to have a few back-ups. Whatever you do, DON'T STAY IN THUNDER BAY!! Any time you need info on traveling up here, just ask Mr. Frog. I've spent the past 30+ years traveling between Wawa and Kenora, and all points north of there.
