wallyboss Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I got rid of my steering issues by lifting the motor on the transom to the right height. I had to hold on for dear life before doing this, now when I am on plane and trimmed properly i can (but don't) let go the steering and I go straight. I had tried to adjust that little fin but found that it only made a difference when I took off. Cause I don't think that the small fin touches the water when on plane.

This is only advisable if the motor is bolted to the transom.
