upper thames pike?

i was going to head to pitock dam for the first time to try and catch a pike or two, but after looking at the regs it closed on march 15th from the dam to #59. what i'm wondering is if there's any fishable (and accessible) water downstream of #59 that hold pike.

I've caught pike downstream in chatham all the way to the mouth, not necessarily trophies but pike are in the river somewhere.
