earl Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 With the Bay getting alot more water clairity it seems that some really big bass are starting to be caught more often than not, the bass pro anglers must be lovin it. For myself i still prefer fall fishing for giant walleyes off Meyers Pier. Does anyone think the walleye will be around in ten years?
superdad Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 The walleyes have been there thru thick and thin for a long time (i've been fishing them for 28 years) and yes there are ups and downs, butthe up is defintely up right now and I believe will be there for a long time. Don't forget a lot of the large fish taken in the fall and winter are Lake Ontario residents and there's lots of food out there for them.
