FrankTheRabbit Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 Since it's getting close to the end of 2011, would a friend be able to purchase a 2012 license and still fish the remainder of the year? I didn't think it would make much sense to purchase a 2011 license and then have to purchase a 2012 license in a month's time. Thanks.

kickingfrog Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 Only if he already has a licence or buys one for this year. "weekend" licences can be obtained as well.
FrankTheRabbit Posted November 16, 2011 Author Report Posted November 16, 2011 Thanks for the info! I suggested those one-day licenses if he were to just fish the one time only. He don't own any fishing gear at all, so it might be the better (and only) solution.
GBW Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 just make him be your camera man for your trips and make sure you just have the one fishing rod. tell him it's for his own good, to learn. oh and the one rod is if a CO comes by.
mercman Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 While we are on the subject,(sorry to hijack the thread) can someone send me the link to where ever i can purchase a yearly, out of province license to fish Ontario.I am in Quebec, and tend to fish often in Ontario. For me its probably worthwhile just to get a full year license and if necessary an outdoors card.
