Hi all, new to the site. Just wanted to ask if anyone has fished lake mattagami in the fall? Going up with some friends in september and was wondering what to expect. Anything in particular work or not work?

I haven't been there in the fall, so this is probably not too helpful, but I've fished in there twice in the summer (this year and about 3 years ago). We mostly caught walleye with hook, worm, and sinker. I also had a bass on but lost it, and I got one pike on a Lucky Strike (I believe it was a Bug Eye. If not, it was a Half-Wave). It's a nice lake, enjoy!
