The ice wasn't out on the weekend so my guess is the fishing was tough.

dannyboy Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 From the Algonquin website: Special Bulletin Extended to Thursday, April 28, 2011 Ontario Parks is extending its no backcountry water access camping permit restrictions until the end of Thursday, April 28, 2011. For those planning upcoming backcountry canoe trips, Park and Access Point Staff are currently gathering the latest ice and road conditions so Park visitors can prepare for backcountry experiences. More details to follow.
