What are the closest fishing spots to Mississauga for Bass?

I know that smallmouth bass come in the spring and summer to the Credit river, correct me if I am wrong. Would the best lure/ baits to uses for them be worms?

As the water gets cooler you slow down your presentation. So the mid to low 50's I'd use tubes or worms dragged on the bottom. If the temp. is warmer say low to mid 60's then you could use jerkbaits or crankbaits or spinners. Good luck.

the salmon/steelhead scare the bass out, and the fact that the water is colling down
