John Bacon Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 I am not sure if you need it right away or not. But, they did have them on sale for $99.99 a while back. They do tend to repeat their sales. p.s. Why do they put lead core line on a down rigger combo?
Sudzy Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 I was looking at picking the same combo out to use as a trolling rod for dipsy divers. Checked it out at Basspro and seemed pretty decent - also about 20 bucks cheaper there btw.
Cookslav Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 A guy I know uses them with success and no issues to speak of. I'm sure there are better rods/reels but these seem to fit the profile of what is needed and I've not heard any poor feedback.
