Make Your Own Minnow Traps

Is there any way to make your own minnow traps?

 

Or are the aluminum ones that you buy better to use?

Personally I would just spend the $10 and pick up the premade one at Canadian tire - lol but I'm lazy.

I too use that one , cheap and easy. You will refine it with some holes around the sides so it sinks faster , and some rocks in the bottom so it goes where you want. I just use white bread as bait and I have caught more than twentey at a time in a 2 lr. bottle. And if someone takes it no loss just make another.
