I just picked up the Olympus S T 6000 and was hoping someone could help me shorten the learning curve. I will be using this mainly for fishing pics and was wondering what kind of settings to use for the best pics. Any help is appreciated

Thanks Rob

Play with it a lot. That way you won't be trying to figure things out when you've got a fish in the boat.

Learn how to set the flash. It will make even shots taken in bright sunlight look better.

Buy a floating strap, the camera might be water proof, but it doesn't float, and you're more apt to be hanging it over the gunwales than a regular camera.

.. one of a few videos on youtube

The wide angle shots are great..btw, you can stop after 2 pics and they always come out great.
