Heading up for our spring fishing trip. any advice out there? we will be staying in chippawa bay and will be hitting all the usual spots.

In the usual spots the usual baits usually work.

 

Sorry I don't have any experience with that area, but your post is back at the top for now.

Keep in mind the water is a bit lower than usual. Rocks that you can usually glide over are now exposed or just beneath the surface. I've been hearing of some good fish coming out of the river. I haven't had a chance to get out yet though.
