brifishrgy Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Had the day to myself since my son was with his mom so I figured it would be a good day to head out to the grand for a full day of fishing .. managed to hook into 6 of them .. biggest being 28" long and an even 12lbs according to my scale .. now I dont have a picture of the scale so if you don't believe the weight toooooo bad took a little drive up the creek to Byng park .. just wanted to see what the water level was like up there .. pretty low and it looks like a beaver has decided to munch on a couple trees going to head out again next weekend with the boy .. and the rod benders have a cat on the board
scugpg Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Nice pics! Hey what are you using to secure your trolling motor to the deck of the boat in transit? I want to do that as well.

skeeter Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 12 LB cats are all muscle so ya i believe it was that heavy. i find it funny that a beaver is smart enough to build a damn that takes either a bulldozer or dynamite to remove it, but are dumber then a fence post when it comes to selecting a tree that they cant move after spending all that time to knaw it down.
