Yes I did.I just erased a long story to make it short.The rod was flawed and warranty was up.20days.unrepairable.got a good deal on a clarus :D:D

Shimano is a Great company to deal with ....

 

 

They've already replaced a dozen for me over the years.... :P:P

 

I never had a Shimano rod.......a few older Fenwicks and now if I need one I get a Cabela's name brand (could be Shimano, don't know) but with your last statement I will never knowingly purchase one if you had to have a DOZEN replaced by them.....SOMETHING WRONG there.

All the rods in question were broken because of my own '' Rough '' handling of them... :wacko::wallbash::wallbash:

Read in the classifies that kemper is looking for scrap blanks/rods sell it to him for what you paid for it plus the shipping and go by yourself a med/hvy ;)
