Anybody else notice an increase in both size and numbers of steelies this Autumn?

Fish below nailed a Marabou jig (Daiichi Hook) and was quickly released after the photo.

increase in numbers to say the least...last spring was a fa nominal run right into early June....so far this fall the fish numbers are staggering and the size and strength is outstanding !!!...

 

thats a beauty fish ...nice shootin ...

 

 

but the salmon run up here was no hell as opposed to last year...

It's amazing what cooler summers with lots of precip will do. I know in the credit we are seeing tonns of smolts all over the lower river, there were even yoy brown and steelhead smolts in and around streetsville this summer.
