fish-miester Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 (edited) was wanting to get some fishing in on lake Simcoe hopefully this week.. but was wondering where would be a good place to start.. I will be coming from Port Perry so the south East part of the lake is ideally where I would be aiming to fish... what is the fishing like there? as well as the structure? as i normally only ice fish on simcoe but this time i will be in a fully loaded 14' tin with a 15. as for species.. Bass and or pike thanks again a fellow angler Edited September 29, 2009 by fish-miester
misfish Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Before we send you out on ol lord Simcoe, what will you be in? Hate to give out info that you cant use. Also what are you targeting?
Starcraft Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Cudz is the man on Simcoe. He told me to go to Thorah island since I was around there and I was rewarded. I think Thorah is close enough to where you will be.
misfish Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 If you launch out of Sibalds, there are some great shoals and shoreline spots for smallies. Get yourself a map.
johnnyb Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 A map like this one maybe... http://www.lakesimcoe.tv/map/
