eze76 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 This is the bobber im talking about except its a different color and its not weighted ,it has the same spring at the bottom tho
tjsa Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 If there isn't a piece of rubber to pass your line through to put over the top of that style of float, then all you do is pull the spring upwards toward the main body of the float. There will be a slit in the bottom stem to put your line through, then release the spring and it will wrap around your line to lock it into the slit in the bottom of the float.
eze76 Posted August 1, 2009 Author Report Posted August 1, 2009 Ive tried that, i mean ive put the spring up and put the line through , but thats it should i be wrapping it around where the slit is then putting the spring down
tightline Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I'm guessing theres a slit under the spring for your line to go in...you can just put it through once that way its a quick adjustment or if you wrap it once will keep it locked in place

Beans Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Any floats I have like those I replace the springs with a small piece of surgical tubing, top and bottom then just run my line through the tubing first then place over the float...I found the springs tended to cut into my line...
