Short vs long shaft...

Hey there,

 

WHen using a kicker mounting bracket, does it really make a difference if a motor is a long or short shaft since the bracket's height can usually adjusted ?

Just in case anyone was thinking this....As long as your using it for a kicker and not a full time outboard......Your main power unit should be fitted directly to your transom.....

Hey Chris, yes it would only be used for auxiliary power... so it should not be a problem then?
