ultra light trout report

hit the creek on saturday morning around 5:30am for an hour of fishing. this time using pink worms, managed to catch half a dozen small residential trout, then my drag started screaming. was surprised that these guys are still hanging around. they looked pretty beat up. probably caught a few times by fellow OFC steelheaders. nice way to spend an hour on saturday morning

Those are some nice ones Rico, must have been loads of fun on the ultra-light. Now I know why I don't fish streams for trout, 5:30am, I can barely get myself up that early for musky trips.

Great catch. No doubt was a blast on the ultra-lite

 

Still a fair number of steelhead around in the tribs. The times I tried using pink worms for the resident trout, all I ever got were chub
