Medical supply stores stock them for scooters and electric wheelchairs. Best part, no tax on goods for the handicapped.

i have no clue what size i need its just gotta be a 12v its to power the humminbird fishfinder i got for my kayak im still doing research of what size would be good.

12 volt 7 amp will give you several days of fishing, they are the size that most of the winter flashers use.

Do you have a portable unit which currently runs on 2 lantern batteries? If so, hobby stores sell the right type of gel cell (you'll need two) and I have conversion instructions along with pics if you are interested.
