BassAsin Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 (edited) not a trophy by any means but a quick jump on the seaon this one was pulled out on december 6th we had 5 hits in 2 hours also been out the past 3 days for a few hours in "prime" time and not a bite. My goal is to catch my first ice pike, what were you using? if you dont mind telling. i dont know if i can tell you that! but if you promise not to tell anybody i was using some frozen smelts we net out of the lake in the spring. give them the odd jig and we do well the average in that lake is about 5 lbs so big smelt are on the menu!
