Folks the Port Glasgow Derby is i full swing lots of action so far despite the high winds and crummy weather. Where else can you buy your whole boat in for $20 for a week long derby and catch limits of big walleye and Rainbow Trout? For rules and detials click the link.

Thanks we have caught some hogs out of Port Glasgow the last 2 years, I make fishing tackle and test most of my new stuff there, it is a very quiet friendly port. This is the first year for the derby, it is meant to be a family fun event. We have boated no less than 19 30" walleye this summer the biggest was 38" and over 14 pounds. The walleye fishing on Lake Erie is awesome but in my opinion the bigger ones seem to hang around the central basin near Port Glasgow.
