Petticoat Creek Conservation Area

Hi Guys / Gals,

 

I will be attending a family BBQ at Petticoat Creek, are there any opportunities in that park? According to the area map, there seem to be a creek, right underneath a pedestrian bridge emptying into the lake. Any local knowledge is appreciated.

There is a section for Petticoat creek....looks like only creek chub and suckers are prevalent there, with the occasional bass and panfish opportunities. Trout are seasonal....probably a bit early for those.

I would consider Peticoat to be more of stream than a creek. There is not a whole lot of water flowing through it.

 

It may get a seasonal run of trout, but I have never heard it mentioned as a trout fishing destination.
