holdfast Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I have a wood or looks more like fiberboard siding outside my house that i need to paint as it has chipped. It looks original Manafactured paint and I dont know if it is oil or latex. I will need to tint as the color is like a dull blue or greyish blue. sturgman Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) I am not a professional painter by any means but I think if you are not sure of the paint you are covering, it is always safe to cover it with an oil base paint..
