A few days on the Grand

spent Sat morning fishing with my son .. didnt have too much luck .. got a few small eyes 8" long .. should be good to get them again in a few years ... my son was happy catching small bugs and playing with the tie ropes

 

 

went out this morning on my own since he was spending the day with his mom and within 5 min a huge strike .. line peeling off .. thought it was a big cat but it ended up being a rather hungry 31" carp

 

 

managed a eating sized eye and a sheethead .. heading out again next weekend to Byng park .. hopefully get into some cats as well

Nice! We were completely skunked today out there, holy wind! You know its bad when there's 2 foot rollers on the grand.

Great report! You got into some fish, so that's always a good thing. Kids are pretty funny...yours likes to play with bugs and ropes...my 6 year old daughter likes to play with dead minnows and worms.....LOL.

 

Funny though....I don't have a PM from you with your OFC sign in a picture for the eye....LOL.
