Here in the lower Niagara River now is the time and of course at NIGHT.

I have property in Sunridge and it should start pretty soon but with all the snow hard to gauge but try calling the local bait shop in Sunridge.

I think the local MNR office might give you the info as well (York Region MNR did so a few years ago and they still might be doing it this year)
