Clampet
Tried Gilford, and discovered the shore line afforded no access due to a pressure crack that seeped up to 10" of water onto the ice. This is after I paid $10 to park at a neighboring house close to the landing. Packed everything up and tried at the next access, Leefroy. The ice was 6-8 inches. Tried 8', 12', 20 feet, nothing. Was jigging with a jig-a-whopper rockin minnow. With small shiner, tied to 4lb trilene (18") then to 20 lb Powerpro (no stretch). The wind died down and it was nice and sunny. Noticed lack of action for the other anglers as well. One guy caught a 3lb Whitefish, but no Perch. Moved three times, did not set up any wind shelter, and kept moving after about 10 minutes at each hole. Here's a few pics of the area. Sorry no fish. Rizzo
definitely looks slippery out there! I once chased a windblown lawnchair halfway across the lake in similar conditions
