Kerosene Heaters

i have a chance to buy a kerosene haeter cheap, like the ones on pg 18 in ctc flyer

 

i plan on using it to heat my ice fishing hut 8ft * 12 ft

 

would anyone recommend it ??

or would you go for the mr heater for the xtra $$ ???

If it's a reasonably well sealed and insulated hut, the smaller rectangular one (10K btu) will work okay, the other round one really puts out heat. The only thing is if you get the kerosene on your hands, it may affect your catching for the day. Stinks like diesel.

Every time I was in a hut with a kerosene heater I ended up tired with a headache .I really dont care for the odor of a kerosene heater.I would spend the extra and buy a Mr Buddy.Just my 2 cents.
