well i wasnt out on the river much in the last while, so the past 2 days ive been out for a few hours at a time. the water level is real low it has droped over 12 inches in the past few weeks, the water is still very cold tho. i have only been fishing depper and colder runs and pools as not to put much stress on the trout and the fishing is still great.

i got out yesterday at 4:30 pm and was out for 1 1/2 hour. in that time the fishing was great. i got lots of smaller 6-8 inch fish and a few over 12 inches. including a 14 inch beauty. the fish were caught on grass hopper imitations as there are lots in the river right now.

a very nice 14 incher which took the fly very aggresivly and one amazing fight for the size of the fish

i got out agian today for a few hours and on my second cast with the hopper i get another fish about 10 inches no pic. agian lots of other smaller ones. i decided to bring along an ultra light with me today and decided to toss out a spinner and worm. i got a nice 12 inch fish with that combo. he had some great spawning colours as well.
