  1. If you bought all the tackle on the list, Orest would be sold out
  2. Actually this was at Country Style. I like it better too, and the lines are shorter. Please note, I don't have a problem with a cop having a coffee, I just don't think too much of traffic being blocked like that. Its inconsiderate and illegal.
  3. You shoulda put a string on it and yanked it out. You could say it is the recomended method
  4. Good one
  5. That would take some hanging on to in rough weather wide open. Not so easy to launch either
  6. ...hey, I'm casting here...get out of my spot...I'll push you in!!
  7. We must block access to this road...to save the bushes. The light green areas in the last picture are the parts that were logged.
  8. This from a person that lives in an area where every road is paved. I'm sorry, south of the French river should have NOTHING to say about how we handle our area. Driving through a bush? We go around the bushes
  9. shocked?..doesn't suprise me but look at the tourist dollars we would miss
  10. I just said...for the tree huggers
  11. When was that one? I hope it costs them a bunch of money
  12. I have a rant about the drivethrough at coffee shops. Timmies is really bad for people blocking the road waiting in line. I was just at a local coffee shop and there was a line to the road. I went inside to get my coffee. When I came out and got into my truck, I look at the line and here is a cop in line blocking traffic on the road. I scrambled but couldn't find my camera. Forgot all about my phone camera till it was too late. Once in a lifetime oportunity...I hope not. I sure would have liked to post that on our local news site Soo Today. Remember guys, always have a camera ready. You never know PS if I would have waited in the drivethrough line, I still would have been third from the front when I left.
  13. I think they have been purposely told not to count or mark bears so thet the politicians can say there is "no evidence"
  14. A little bit of spring hunting and this would all be under control again. There is no way that will happen because we would get to say..."I told you so"
  15. Thats a pretty nice ad they got at the top of a tree hugger thread...LMAO
  16. My friend said to me about eating bear. Either you love it, or you gag on it. We were out ice fishing and he had some with him. My kids aged 9 and 12 then, loved it, I gaged on it. This thread needs some pics. Momma with 3 cubs. You gotta look close, but there are 3 Bruin...no cubs. See, you can tell the difference.
  17. I was reading in the MNR busts just a bit ago where a guy from michigan got busted for spear hunting bears. he actually got one...try that
  18. As far as I know, there is no allotment for tags. You can just go buy one. Trouble is, nobody wants a fall bear. They are fat. What you want to eat is a nice lean tender spring bear. And it used to be a deer and bear license combo. Now they want money for both. Put one in Donna's backyard and see how fast we get to shoot em in the spring again
  19. Ok then...I'll do it...I just wandered about tendon damage. I would be more apt to cut the hook and wrap it up. I did pull one out of my thumb a few years ago...wasn't fun
  20. I was fishing with my daughter and her friend a couple years ago. Her friend was fighting a salmon boatside and the Jplug came out. Right between their 2 heads. A very narrow miss.
  21. I just hate seeing a timmies cup in the bush...it drives me nuts. You drove it in, drive it out!!!
  22. Have you noticed, that the further north you go, the more people drink
  23. We have areas put aside now. Algonquin park, Lake Superior provincial park. Make a few more parks. Just leave some room for us to use. The population down south has all kinds of entertainment. We up here have very little. We go fishing in our leisure time. You want us all to have to hump 20 miles back into the woods when there is a road. How do we kill an evening when we live in Wawa. There is nothing to do but go 20 miles up Duebrielville rd and hit a walleye lake for a couple hours. We gotta walk it now just because some guy wants to make his living flying rich guys to the lake there is a road too? This is everybodys land. Fishermen generally don't pollute. Not the ones that live in the north anyway PS I'm gonna hit the river for perch tonight
  24. Thats a good way to screw up your hand for ever.
  25. you don't get off the pavement much do you
