  1. but clampet if you plan on heading that way, you better be getting up at 3 or 4 to head out, will be a 2-3 hr drive and you want to get there before sunrise for them walleyes, i got there at 9, nadda. however when i got there, i saw a few fellows with some very nice sized eyes there.
  2. yup, at BOQ. i was there on sunday, plenty of ice i was driving on it, saw atleast 4 others out there further then me. but becareful, the shoreline was cracking a bit when i was there. the ice was for sure over 12 inches. i stuck my head in the hole and i wasnt even done drilling yet... lol
  3. oh, and i bought 10lb stren superbraid 300yard spool from the spring classic at basspro for something like $18.99 only!
  4. ive used the superbraid by stren and from spiderwire. out of the two, i perfer stren, the line runs much smoother.

  8. same here, i got a 8inch auger, might downsize to a 6 or 4, ice is getting thick! and tiring

  10. gotta be extra careful, i was coming back from ottawa to toronto yesterday and saw 2 cars that ran off the shoulder into the snow bank, a truck, a 18 wheeler, and even a snow plower.

  12. lol, i went last night on the way back from ottawa, winds must of been atleast 30km/hr, tried for 20mins then ran off, even with a portable hut, i dont think many could survive.

  16. lol, i wouldve suggested a peice of foam, you can try that if you like. i have never fed my minnows before, maybe a couple grains of rice a week? not much.
  17. hey bud, what works best for me... i stick in a 4litre plastic ice cream tube and stick them in my fridge. the cold temps keeps them for quite some time. initially a few will die but after that, most survive... i just went last week and had some left overs that i stuck in my fridge that are still up and swimming.

  19. im looking to sell my 12ft tinny and downgrading to a canoe.im looking for a 12 or 14 ft canoe that i can hopefully hook a motor onto. would anyone know of anyone selling their's if so, please dont be shy and send me a PM. thanks!

  21. not sure if im allowed to say this or not, but the simcoe board is up and running again..
  22. my jig and tube outproduced my waxworms in some holes and it was vise versa at others.
